Junay is a very pleasant pet. He is very affectionate and follows us everywhere. He loves to go out for a walk and just does not have the patience to put on his collar and leash. He waits at the door and as soon as it opens, he rushes down the stairs.

He is never too tired to play with his toy (a fabric fly on a stick). When you are holding this toy, he will be there immediately to play with you. He also loves to tease Jin, his companion. You can see her wrestling to get out of his grip. A second later, they are chasing each other through the whole apartment, jumping on and off their playing pole.

He will be whining to see me leave for work in the morning, and in the evening, he will be waiting for my return and say hello as soon as I get in.

He loves to lie in the couch. He comes real close to us and he loves us to stroke his belly. At bed-time, he comes lying with me in my bed. He keeps me awake for another half hour, wriggling and rubbing me, and after that he falls asleep and does not wake up until I get out of bed.

Junay is fond of other people too. When we take him with us to see relatives, he likes the attention from other people. He never had much of a problem with my parents’ dog. Layka just was not interested in him, so Junay never got near her.

We love Junay very much, especially because we know it is reciprocal.
